I just watched this movie again last night because of reasons. I had forgotten how childlike Loki is here. Questing and innocent, despite the need to make mischief. What he really craves, more than anything, is a sense of belonging and the approval of his father and brother. He isn’t angry at Odin here. He’s hurt, and lost. It’s easier to replace those vulnerable feelings with anger than to deal with the fact that he will never have the approval he needs, will never belong. And Tom Hiddleston’s acting shows that flawlessly.

Basically, all the Loki feels.
